The webinar will be given by Jonathan Brigain, Managing Director of Accountancy Scotland. Accountancy Scotland are experts in modern accounting. Through their 30+ years experience in the financial sector, they’ve helped a variety of businesses. Passionately Scottish, they are the perfect partners to help explain the support available to Scottish businesses.
Jonathan Brigain is a Chartered Manager, Chartered Director and a Chartered Management Accountant. He has had a varied career which started in the late 1980s with HMRC, managing the tax affairs of the self-employed and Limited Companies; and moved into the private sector, bookkeeping, accounting and payroll for several small businesses. Jonathan qualified and practised as a Financial Adviser in the mid-1990s before joining Scottish Widows and subsequently being promoted and qualifying as their management accountant. Jonathan saw them through their demutualisation and takeover by Lloyds. Jonathan was then headhunted and took over as Finance Director for LIQUIDe Red Bull for the first ten years of this century. He was instrumental in introducing and growing the Red Bull brand in the UK. From setting up the company and business planning, recruitment and operations, marketing, logistics, systems development and IT, HR and legal, Jonathan gained an enviable amount of experience which he now passes on to clients of his Business consultancy, Accountancy and tax practice. Jonathan incorporated his business consultancy practice into Accountancy Scotland in 2013 which has grown ever since
