Due to the recent spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Institute of Ecommerce has decided to postpone all future Ecommerce Club events (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Aberdeen) until further notice. The IoE has decided to take this action following feedback from several people from within the ecommerce community many of whom are now working from home and trying to minimise attending groups wherever possible.
We will be keeping everyone who has signed up for our mailing list up to date on developments. Hopefully, we look forward to meeting up again as soon as things get back to normal.
Meanwhile we are also aware that many ecommerce businesses are currently experiencing increased business as a result of the virus. For those of you in this category, we look forward to hearing your experiences of this period once the clubs reconvene.
The purpose of the club is to provide a physical meeting space where representatives of ecommerce businesses and those involved in web design, ecommerce marketing, fulfilment, retail and wholesale can meet to discuss ecommerce. This will be a chance for both peer-to-peer learning as well as having invited guest speakers (ten minute max). People can announce news items and discuss issues around technical trends, recruitment, quick wins, platforms, payments, couriers, product photography, courses, qualifications, etc, etc.
The event will be held in room LT1A
